How to Get Your Ohio Driver’s License
To apply for your Ohio Driver’s License, you must:
Be at least 16 years old and have held a learner’s permit (Temporary Instruction Permit Identification Card) for at least 6 months.
Complete 24 hours of classroom driver’s education (satisfied by taking our online course).

Complete 50 hours of driving practice with a licensed adult over 21 years of age, 10 hours of which must be at night.
