TAE40116 Certificate IV in
Training and Assessment
10 Days Face to Face (via a virtual classroom using Zoom) + work to complete afterwards
Key Points:

Courses are being run via remote learning using the video conferencing platform, Zoom. Our remote course is run in a similar way to our classroom-based course. Each day is led by one of our experienced trainers. Students are supported throughout the day by their trainer. They engage in a variety of learning activities and also have time to work on assessments. The main difference with remote learning is everyone will be in a virtual classroom.
Help Days are dedicated to revision, consolidation and time for one-on-one tuition. Whilst enrolled in our course, students can attend as many Help Days as needed. Students book into our Help Days on Zoom, to work with a trainer.
Vocational placement is not required with our course.
Delivery of all practical training sessions and any group assessment activities are completed in-class.
We use integrated assessments. This means less work for you.
Our assessments have been created by us. We do not use “off-the-rack” assessments.
We believe we have the best and most dedicated trainers in Australia.
What students have said about our new virtual classes using ZOOM:
“I chose CBD College for Cert IV TAE because the 10 day intensive Zoom course fitted with my schedule. I also liked that there were help days available after teaching ends to assist with completing the assessment.

The quality of thought that has gone into the structure of the course and the assessment tasks blew me away. There is such intelligence in the design. The trainer was fantastic and the coach on help days really knew their stuff. Class size is small. Learning alongside peers is brilliant. This is no dreary, boring course.” – Rachel

“I was hesitant at first because I prefer face to face training sessions. However, I am familiar with zoom because we use it a lot at work due to the current COVID-19 situation, so I know that it works. The training went well and I am happy that I proceeded with my enrollment for the Cert IV Training and Assessment Course.” – Wally

“Having recently completed the Cert IV Trainer Assessor course, I would like to give a big thanks to Alka and the team at CBD College. Not only did I come away with the skills and knowledge of a trainer assessor, but by using the Zoom online platform I have developed a secondary set of skills – being able to communicate effectively using digital technology.” – Milan

“This was my first experience of learning a course online, let alone via Zoom, and it was a lot easier then I was anticipating. Once I was familiar with the Zoom platform and how to navigate its various tools I was totally comfortable with the face to face component of the course. While there is obviously a large amount of content in the Cert IV course, at no time did I feel that I was being disadvantaged by not being physically in the room with the trainer.” – Phil
Over the past 6 years, CBD College has gained a reputation for delivering a cleverly-integrated face-to-face TAE course trained by some of the best and most highly qualified facilitators in Australia.

We are offering our course either face-to-face in our training rooms or remotely via a virtual classroom using the video conferencing platform Zoom. Zoom is easy to use, is a stable platform and has allowed us to transition our TAE to include remote learning seamlessly.

Our TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course is unique. It is far-removed from the rote-learning and lecture-style courses on offer elsewhere in the market. Our course is very much a “learning by doing” course. We aim to arm candidates with the practical skills to go out and be engaging and dynamic trainers and to be thorough assessors, whether this be in a TAFE or an RTO or simply in the workplace.

We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 91399).
